The focus of Grace Bible Church can best be described
in the words of the apostle Paul concerning the first church in
Jerusalem:
They were continually devoting themselves to
the apostles' teaching and to fellowship,
to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
(Acts 2:42)
Through these avenues of worship and service, the goal of Grace
Bible Church is to carry out our mission:
- To evangelize the lost
- To help members develop into mature and productive
Christians through the knowledge and application of the Word
of God
- And to afford members opportunities for serving
God
History
The initial meeting of Grace Bible Church
of Houston took place in a theater on FM 1960 in February 1987.
The next several meetings were held in a private home. In March
1987, the church moved to a commercial strip center on Cutten
Road. In December 1999, GBC moved to its present location. |
